Join the Lillie Carroll Jackson Civil Rights Museum and Smalltimore Homes, for an engaging afternoon of history, strategy, and community connection featuring Urban Cipher, an interactive board game developed by Dr. Lawrence T. Brown and inspired by his acclaimed book, The Black Butterfly.

Through gameplay, participants will explore how history, policy, and community decisions have shaped Baltimore's neighborhoods and the people who call them home.

The afternoon includes an opportunity to tour the museum, play Urban Cipher, and participate in spirited conversations that encourage us to share perspectives, think critically, and build bridges across communities.

Whether you're a history enthusiast, community advocate, or simply enjoy a good board game, we invite you to pull up a chair and join the conversation!

No prior gaming experience required. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to connect!

Registration is encouraged.
