About The Event

Join us on Friday, March 6th from 3–5 PM for a Sketch Day workshop at the Lillie Carroll Jackson Civil Rights Museum. The program includes a short film on the life of Dr. Lillie Carroll Jackson, self-guided tours of the galleries, and a facilitated drawing session led by instructors from Morgan State University’s Department of Fine Arts.

Participants will also be invited to tour Ouroboros, currently on view at the Meyerhoff Gallery, following the workshop. This collaborative experience highlights the artistic and civic legacy of Dr. Virginia Jackson Kiah and strengthens connections between LCJM, Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), and the broader arts community.

Space is limited and registration is required.
