About The Event

Join us for a powerful virtual event with acclaimed author, journalist, and media entrepreneur Doni Glover, as we explore the past, present, and future of Black entrepreneurship through his book I Am Black Wall Street.

Facilitated by Lisa Mitchell-Sennaar, great-granddaughter of Dr. Lillie May Carroll Jackson and co-facilitator of the LCJM Book Club, this timely conversation will reflect on the legacy of Black Wall Street and what it means for today’s Black business owners navigating systemic barriers with radical vision and ancestral strength.

I Am Black Wall Street reimagines the historical narrative of Tulsa’s famed Black Wall Street—uncovering the story behind the story, while honoring the spirit of resilience that defines Black entrepreneurship in America.
