About The Event

Join us for a special Juneteenth celebration at the Lillie Carroll Jackson Civil Rights Museum for the exclusive unveiling of the deluxe version of Urban Cipher, created by Dr. Lawrence Brown, author of The Black Butterfly.

This powerful community gathering will celebrate Juneteenth through history, storytelling, strategy, and the importance of Black ownership in Baltimore neighborhoods.

The event will also feature a special screening of Birth of the Black Butterfly, the animated project created through Grassroots Media Makers. Together, the game unveiling and film screening will connect liberation, neighborhood legacy, and the ongoing importance of ownership in Black communities.

Seating is limited. Registration is strongly encouraged.
